I am the Captain of several Teams nationwide and would love for you to join ~ you can participate in any or all of the following ways:
1 - Be a "scarfer" by knitting, crocheting, felting, or weaving. Join my Team!
2 - Your monetary donation is most welcome to my scarf effort. One dollar knits one row!
3 - Why not give this info to a needler who may be interested in ending their 2009 with a good deed well done? They can form their own Team: go to KeepTheFleece.org to register. OR JOIN MINE! THE MORE THE MERRIER!

Keep in mind the following requirements:
100% natural fiber must be used, animal or plant.
Width = 9".
One dollar = one row (or one inch if woven).
The completed pieces must be received in Rhinebeck, NY by October 1st, 2009, or by me on September 21st, 2009.
On each corner you need to affix a firm 12 inch "tie-in", as all the pieces will be sewn together for the October 17-18 New York Sheep and Wool Festival and the final scarf measured.
Following the Festival, the individual scarves will be detached and donated to those in need. The money raised will be donated to Heifer International.
